I couldn't believe I hadn't rated them yet. I've been coming here for over a decade now and love this place so much. I regularly pick up perogies, and various soups and salads. They have a good selection and reasonable prices.

This humble market offers a ton of interesting Eastern European goods at insanely low price points. As a disclaimer, I am not ethnically Polish nor have I ever been to Poland. However, it seems like it offers a lot of traditional goods that I have never seen in American grocery stores (and staples too). In a neighborhood that is rapidly becoming more expensive, Kurowski's is a community institution that gives a peek into the historically large, working-class Polish immigrant community in Avondale. Folks should stop by and hit up the pastry/bread case, especially on Paczki Day :)

Great selection, best polish market I have seen in America. The deli is fresh and most of the products are prepared before. They also have us free candy because it was Christmas which was a nice gesture.

This place has a fantastic selection of imported pickles, preserves, produce, baked goods, and soups and salads made in house. I highly recommend the dill soup and coleslaw. Both are fantastic.
